Since I'm done with hypertrophy workout, I'm going to cycle onto a ketogenic diet during the week with a "carb refeed" on Sundays. It's basically less than 50g total carbs (so even less grams of "usable" carbs less fiber) then a ton of carbs on Sundays -- good carbs. I'm not going to eat carbage -- just lots of fruit, nut butters, dark chocolate, etc...

coffee lasted me until dinner which was a 6-egg omelet, raw salad (spinach, tomatoes, olive oil), and a pound of boneless chicken thighs

snack -- iced decaf with heavy cream

about 2,500 kcal // 25g carbs // 190 fat // 196 protein

rest day -- did some mobility work

Enjoy

  • watched BB16 finale with good friends while my parents watched the kiddos
  • had one-on-one meetings with some of the football guys today
  • led singing at church tonight
  • got to see Chip Bennett who played for the Bengals in the early 70s
  • thoroughly enjoying the ketogenic diet
