AM -- woke around 7 AM // about 7 hours

PM -- in bed around midnight

Eat

post workout shake -- berries, bone broth, egg, protein, water, flax seed

dinner -- 1/2 pound brisket and 1/4 ribs // sauerkraut 

snack -- rice cake // leftover grilled chicken salad my wife had for dinner

DEAD LIFT

sets of 3 with 275, 310, 350 (the bar started slipping out  of my right hand on the third rep...I stopped and regripped and tried for a 4th but couldn't get it...would've gotten 4 if I'd had chalk...felt good to rep out my previous max)

CLEANS (hang power)

reps of 5-4-3-2-1 with 135, 145, 155, 165, 175

ASSISTANCE WORK

max rep pulls and dips (18-25, 10-18, 9-15)

good mornings and RDL (3 x 10 GM with 95, RDL with 135)

stretch and mobility and walk

  • went out with my brother tonight -- dinner then to a place where all these crazy hipsters were 20s style dancing. We just sat and laughed wishing we had taken dance lessons as children.
  • shopping in Manhattan. Got some short pink shorts. They're cool. Trust me.
