SFM -- Day 3

Ketones -- 0.0 mmol/L

Glucose -- 98 ml/dL

Wow...zero-point-zero. Makes a 0.7 seem pretty big. I am officially in carb burning mode. Sugars and grains on Memorial Day and the little binge I had yesterday at 3 AM are the culprits. Makes total sense.  

I just have to get back to doing what I've been doing since November and all should get back to normal. My first ever ketone reading was a 0.6 which I thought was low but MUCH higher than a 0.0. From January 1st I had tortillas the first weekend of the year and a beer the first weekend in January. Other than that, I had had NO sugars or grains at all, which I think is why I was already in nutritional ketosis. Good to know, I guess, that a sugar/grain "binge" will completely wipe me out. And the funny thing is, the two "binges" weren't even CLOSE to the amount of sugars and grains I would eat on my "cheat" days. I mean...not even a QUARTER of the amount I would consume.  

Did some mobility, fascial mashing, and yoga this morning (also did Monday morning, too). Sat in cold tub at ACU for 10 minutes. 50 degrees up to my neck. Crazy cold.

lunch -- 4 eggs cooked in 1 tbsp buttter and 2 oz raw cheddar cheese

dinner -- 8 oz of boiled beef kidney, 2.5 oz boiled Pacific oysters, 4 tbsp sour cream, 1 cup sauerkraut, bouillon in the boiled water, 80g avocado + 1 tbsp EVOO, 30g mushrooms

snack -- decaf with 1/4c heavy whipping cream

2,092 calories -- 170g fat // 23g carbs // 114g protein

the offals and oysters have some inherent carbs which I prefer over vegetable carbs...
