2.9 mmol/L ketones this morning. 79 blood sugar. Good numbers. Up 1 mmol from yesterday and blood sugar down -- and look what I ate for dinner last night...awesome.
Was going to rest today but it was just too nice outside...
Vitamin D Bike
Rode 20 miles with no HR monitor and my computer off my bike. No idea how fast I was going or how hard I was working. Just a nice, leisurely ride. Need to do that more often. Really nice. Vitamin D ride b/c I rode with nothing but my bike shorts, helmet, glasses and cleats.
Blood sugar was 63 about 30' after I got off the bike. 82 ml/dL about 2 hours after I started eating dinner...so not a huge spike despite the small amount of fruit and huge amount of raw cheese.
breakfast: thunder coffee
Dinner: 5.3 oz chuck eye steak cooked in 1 tbsp coconut oil, 8 oz organic raw mild cheddar, bouillon + water + 8 oz frozen asparagus + 1 tbsp MCT oil, 2 tbsp sour cream, about 3oz of smoked turkey breast
snack: decaf with 1/4c + 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream, handful of strawberry slices (about 2 small strawberries total), 100g raw avocado with 1 tbsp EVOO

will be interesting to see what the high protein number does to my ketones in the morning...also really funny to that according to the "government's guidelines of nutrition" (which are total bull butter) -- I am getting 7% of my daily carb needs and 700% of my daily cholesterol needs...ha!!
