VLCKD -- Day 5

Down another 2 lbs this morning. Ketones up another 0.2 to 1.5 mmol/L. Slept fine. Woke before alarm went off. Glucose was 79 this morning.

Pretty low energy this afternoon. Thought I was going to be out for the rest of the day, but I laid down for about 10 minutes and felt fine. Glucose 57 at 11:20 and 68 at 2 PM.

Ate dinner late and got to be really late, too. Did 70 pushups throughout the day. Glucose 84 at 9:12 PM. Click here for explanation on VLCKD.


Bfast-- coffee with 1 T MCT oil Snack -- 1 T EVOO // 1 cube bouillon (pictured above)

Answer to question as to why I start the day with ACV -- I learned from the vegan experiment that it alkalizes the body so I do it first thing upon waking.

Dinner -- 5 oz high fat ground beef (grass fed), 2 oz raw Swiss cheese, 1 cube bouillon with 85g of broccoli cooked into it.

Snack -- decaf with 1/4c heavy whipping cream

1,088 kcal -- 92g fat // 56g protein // 10g carbs
