SHL -- Sunday


AM -- Woke at 6:55 AM (alarm set for 7 AM). Felt great. 

PM -- watched a movie at hospital with jenn with my orange glasses on and read some -- asleep by 11:30 PM


rode bike home -- 30' ride -- 45 degrees! 

rode bike to hospital at 6:45 PM -- 30' ride. 


Glucose -- 86. Good. Didn't have to battle hunger last night which shows me that I'm back in a good zone. My high carb day was Tuesday so it took 4 days. Not worth it in my opinion. 

7:30 AM -- ACV in water

8:30 AM -- coffee with butter, cinnamon and MCT oil // 2 hard boiled eggs (girls didn't want them, they had a bag of baby carrots instead...ha) 

2 PM -- raw, chipotle cheese // huge, raw salad from Jason's Deli (lettuce, bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, onions) topped with grated cheddar cheese and some balsamic vinegar -- may parents brought it home from a church lunch -- wasn't expecting to get a ton of raw veggies but they were there so I chowed down. 

5:30 PM -- about 1/2 pound of grass-fed skirt steak cooked in butter on the stove with some onions and tomatoes // topped with green chili salsa // 2 oz baking chocolate // 2 nori sheets

Didn't feel like I needed cheese or more veggies at dinner -- probably b/c I got them earlier in the day. Every once in a while I like to eat some food during the day and have a more "normal" eating window just to keep my body guessing.  

I also started a pot of bone broth tonight which will be ready tomorrow at 5:30 PM. I'm going to start making a batch for me and a batch for my kids. My batch typically lasts a week -- the girls batch will probably last a couple of weeks and I can freeze some. 


5 days until Hunter joins us!  

FOUND MY RAY-BANS -- AHHHHGHGHGHGHGHGH!!!!!!!!! We lost our iPad and I lost a bike tail light and I thought I had lost my ray-bans, too. But I found them in the back of the van!!!!! Hallelujah. 

Upgraded Self (the product line of the bulletproofexec) is having a 20% of sale so I ordered some upgraded coffee and MCT oil. I finished off my last caffeinated coffee so tomorrow I start decaf. I'll use decaf in the morning (from upgraded self) until it's gone. I'm thinking 12 oz will last me about 2 weeks? We'll see. Then I'll switch back to regular. Just a way to keep me sensitive to the caffeine. 

Got to see my dogs today for the first time in 2 months. So good to see them.  

I registered for an outdoor survival training!!! Super excited. It's 8 days the week of Spring Break near Bastrop, Texas. It's the Lifesong Outdoor Survival Training. I'm in the market for a new, hunting knife. I'll learn to make traps, dress small game, eat insects, eat plants and basically learn how to live off the land if I ever needed to. Super excited. 

Cowboys won!

Listened to several radio pieces from The Ticket app -- fake Nolan Ryan, fake Mark Cuban and some others. Really funny.
