SHL -- Wednesday

Woke at 6:15 AM. Glucose was 95 which is a bit high, but my ketone reading was 1.0 so that's good. HRV was good, too. 88 on iThlete and little lower on Sweet Beat -- but both apps said good to train.  


8 AM -- coffee with butter and coconut oil

2 PM -- bone broth

3:30 PM -- handful of un-shelled almonds, can't eat as many when you have to actually CRACK them

5:30 PM -- 8 egg omelet with 1/2 onion and 1/2 red bell pepper cooked into it, 2 small dill pickles, 1/2 can olives, 2 oz 100% baking chocolate, 2 nori sheets, 1/2 yellow squash & 1/2 zucchini cooked in butter


10' warmup

3 x 10 shoulder press with 75# 

12' every minute on the minute: 

2 squats with 185# (1st set was 155, second was 165, last 10 were 185) 

8 pushups

Got it done even having to deal with a 2 year old needing to go potty during the 8th minute. Legs are toast. 

Rode bike 5 miles up to hospital -- super slow and easy.  


I received my new knives today and used them to slice and dice my squash, onions and peppers!


Pretty sweet. I'm pumped. Cooking is lots of fun when you have the right TOOLS.  

I also received one of these in the mail today and plan on using it after the sun goes down for story time with the girls...
