Day 6, Week 3 - 12 week Half IM training

Long Swim

WU: 400

MS: 30' time trial

CD: 200

Swam the warmup in just under 7 minutes. Waited until 10' then swam 1,800 yards (36 down and back or 72 lengths) in 30 minutes. By FAR the farthest I've ever gone in 30 minutes in the pool. Was at 25' even at 1,500. Pretty happy with that.

45' total time (2,400 yards)

Menu:

post swim smoothie (chard, spinach, bell pepper, vega protein, spirulina, maca powder, chia seeds, blueberries, strawberries, ice, water)

Dinner - large salad, spaghetti squash with mushroom and tomato sauce, pinto beans

Dessert - watermelon, frozen bananas, cashews, raisins
