Session 3 Body, Mind and Sport technique

Last night at around 8:30 PM....(Thursday night)

Sun salute for 10 minutes

"resting phase" - 3.5 mph, averaging about 10 breaths/minute for 5 minutes

"listening phase" - 3.5 mph, increase incline by 0.5 every 15 seconds

Got it up to 15.0 (the max of my treadmill) and held it there for 1 minute before coming back down to zero. It takes 7:15 to get up to that incline, so the set took me 8:15 total...breathing never got faster than 12 breaths/minute

0.0 incline at 3.5 mph - 10 breaths/min for about 2.5 minutes

went up the ladder again...this time I kept it at 15.0 incline for TWO minutes with no increase in respiration before bringing it back down.

"resting phase" for 5 minutes. Last minute I did a total of 4 breaths.

Sun salute for about 5 minutes.

Absolutely incredible increase in one day. I'm a complete sweat ball by the end of these 45 minute (ish) sessions but my breathing never goes higher than 12 breaths/minute.

Pretty cool....going to increase mph tomorrow and try to get in 2 sessions.
